Timber Staircases has been a quality manufacturer of Timber Stairs, Balustrades & Handrails in

Western Australia since 1975.

The current Owner Bruce Smith completed his apprenticeship with Timber Staircases and has been with them since 1979. Bruce & wife Sheryl purchased Timber Staircases in 2004 and are both active in the business. Son Blake started his apprenticeship in 2011 and has progressed to the manager and runs the workshop & site installations. We have highly skilled tradesmen who take great pride in their work. Timber Staircases manufacture and install for many well-known builders in WA, and we look forward to dealing with owner builders.

Meet Bruce

Bruce left school at 15 years of age to pursue his passion of Woodwork, by completing a Pre-Apprenticeship at TAFE in Carpentry and Joinery. A lover of Cricket and Football Bruce started playing as a young boy then progressed into coaching Junior WACA Cricket teams for many years. Outside of work and sport Bruce loves travelling the World but with overseas travel on hold due to COVID he now enjoys weekend camping with his Family.

Meet Blake

Blake completed his Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship with Timber Staircases in 2014. Over the years Blake’s Passion for Stairs has made him adept in every facet of Timber Staircases whether it is Measuring, Quoting, Manufacturing, Installing or Supervising. Outside of work during the cooler months Blake enjoys relaxing outside by a fire whether its at Home or Camping with his dog Jacko. In the warmer months you will find Blake out on the water fishing with Mates or 4 Wheel Driving.

Meet Sheryl

Sheryl is a qualified Hairdresser but has retired the scissors to concentrate fully on work at Timber Staircases. Sheryl gets in and helps where possible whether it’s in the Office, Delivering to Site or in the Factory. Outside of Timber Staircases Sheryl loves looking after and creating memories with her Grandchildren.
